The restaurant in the hotel was great. I also liked the layout of the room.
I did not like that all the rooms face each other, and everyone can see when you come and go.

I love the fact that Ruth's Chris is there although I didn't get to eat there while I was in Birmingham.
1. Burned out light bulb over vanity, 2. toilet ran all night, 3. insufficient supplies for making coffee.
Upon check-in, I was given the key to a room that was already occupied and had to go back downstairs for another room assignment. It was late and the room service stops at 11:00 P.M. I would have had a better stay if the hotel had 24 hour room service. Also, they sell food for microwaves but my suite didn't have one. ...read more

The indoor pool, breakfast buffet and 2 room suites.
Beautiful hotel, loved the trees and water. The 2 room suite was perfect for my stay with 4 teenagers. They loved swimming in the indoor pool. Was just a short ride to Boutwell Auditorium for a concert, so perfect location for us. ...read more

Great staff.
No wireless internet.
The lack of wireless internet is a complete turn off for me. You can access the web through the TV but this does not allow you to use your own computer, shortcuts, or web applications.
